Privacy Policy

1. Data We Collect and Receive

We collect and receive data from our users and third persons visiting our web pages and using our service. Such data may be interpreted as “Personal data”. When using the term “Data” we describe both “Personal data” and every other Data user and third persons provide us. All definitions from this Policy are the same as ones in our General Terms and Conditions published on our Website: dual4mind.eu. Data is collected in a variety of ways: 

  • User data. User is a person that has booked an Appointment and has given us name and e-mail address. During booking of an Appointment User is required to allow us data described in Terms and Conditions. When possible, user is informed that some of the data is not mandatory. However, when data is mandatory, user cannot use our Services User Account without providing such data. 
  • Payment information: When Appointment is booked, you will be requested to pay it in advance. During payment you might provide us with details such as credit card information, banking information and/or a billing address. 
  • Log data: our servers receive and automatically collect information when a user or third person access our website and services and record it in log files. This log data may include the Internet Protocol (IP) address, the address of the web page visited before using the website or services, browser type and settings, the date and time the services were used, information about browser configuration and plugins, language preferences and cookie data. We receive information about the user and third person location. 
  • Device information. When necessary, we may collect information about devices accessing our website, including type of device, what operating system is used, device settings, application IDs, unique device identifiers and cash data.
  • Cookies. We use cookies and similar technologies on our Website to collect other information. For more information about these technologies please see our Cookie Policy. 
  • Third Party Services. Third party services are software that are integrated with our website. Such services might be social networks, advertising networks, search engines, providers for payment methods etc. 
  • Additional information. We receive any information you should send us by email. Such data and information can be held on our servers when needed to provide our services or to answer user complaints. Also, we receive other information when submitted by any other way to us, on social media pages, job applications etc. 
  • Special categories of personal data. Such Personal data which are, by their nature, particularly sensitive in relation to fundamental rights and freedoms merit specific protection as the context of their processing could create significant risks to the fundamental rights and freedoms. Those data are: personal data revealing racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious or philosophical beliefs, or trade union membership, and the processing of genetic data, biometric data for the purpose of uniquely identifying a natural person, data concerning health or data concerning a natural person's sex life or sexual orientation. 

2. Legal base for data collection

When collecting personal data, we apply regulations of the European Union and Republic of Croatia. Every user when assessing our website accepts cookies, or when booking an Appointment accepts this privacy policy. 

Personal data is always collected according to our Privacy policy and general terms. Considering the nature of Service, We are providing to You, many personal data shall be considered as Special category of personal data.  In such cases processing is necessary for the purposes of preventive or occupational medicine, for the assessment of the working capacity of the employee, medical diagnosis, or treatment or the management of health. In other cases, legal basis is usually user consent. User gives us consent when booking an Appointment. Users and third persons are asked when accessing our web page to accept use of cookies. In some limited amount it is inevitable to collect minor data via cookies even when the user or third person does not accept the collection. However, such data is not processed in any way.

3. Data processing info email

Every user or any third person using our web page is allowed to contact us via e-mail info@dual4mind.eu regarding use of their personal data. 

We shall provide within 30 days every information we are able or we are obligated to provide our users. Such information can be: information about data we collect and process, information which data can we delete, information regarding consent and how to withdraw consent etc. 

4. How do we process data

Data is always processed lawfully. We process data only according to our Privacy policy and Terms and Conditions. Most data are processed under your consent or in accordance with Article 9 Paragraph 2 (h) of General Data Protection Act. However, sometimes we use data in furtherance of our legitimate interest in operating our Services, Websites and business. More specifically, we process data: 

  • to provide, update, maintain and protect our services, websites and business. This includes use of data to support delivery of the services under Terms and conditions, prevent or address service errors, security or technical issues, analyse and monitor usage, trends and other activities or at a user’s request. 
  • as required by applicable law, legal process or regulation. 
  • to communicate with users by responding to requests, comments and questions. 
  • to develop and provide new services and new opportunities for our users.   
  • to send emails and other communications. We may inform users about service, technical and other administrative emails, messages and other types of communications. We may also contact users to inform about changes in our services, offerings, special prices, etc.
  • for billing, account management and other administrative matters we use data required by law to create invoices and offerings. 
  • to investigate and help prevent security issues and abuse. 

5. Disclosure of information

Sometimes we may share and disclose information about our users. Such disclosure may occur:

  • under User’s instructions: We will solely share and disclose user data in accordance with user’s instructions, including any applicable terms in Terms and Conditions, and in compliance with applicable law and legal process.  
  • we may engage third party companies or individuals as service providers or business partners to process data to support our business. These third parties may, for example, provide virtual computing and storage services.
  • to comply with laws, if we receive a request for information, we may disclose user data if we reasonably believe disclosure is in accordance with or required by any applicable law, regulation or legal process. 
  • to enforce our rights, prevent fraud and for safety, including enforcing contracts or policies, or in connection with investigating and preventing fraud or security issues. 

6. Individual’s rights

Every user or third person that is visiting our page has rights: 

1) to be informed about data we process,

2) to access information about data we process,

3) if data is incorrect user has right to rectification, when it is possible 

4) erasure of personal data. If we are legally obliged to keep data such as billing data, individuals have the right to be informed why erasure of such data is not possible.

7. How do we protect data 

We have taken appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect all personal information contained in our databases from loss and unauthorized access. All of our co-operation institutions signed a contract to protect the privacy of our users. Also, all of our employees have committed to keep all personal data as business secrets. 

8. Time period of storing your personal data

We collect and store your personal data only for the purposes specified in this privacy policy or prescribed in mandatory laws and for the period of time necessary to fulfil the respective purposes. Therefore, we delete your personal data immediately we receive your deletion request, immediately when the contractual relationship has ended or once our legal obligations pertaining to data collection have expired, i.e. immediately after we do not receive your consent for collecting your data. Please note that some personal data we are obliged by law to keep and in such case if you send us a request to delete it, we will inform you we cannot. 

Any personal data collected for therapy purposes we are obliged to keep for at least 10 years. Any personal data collected by your consent we keep as long as you don't revoke your consent. Your billing information must be kept at least 11 years.

9. Cookies

A cookie is a piece of information (a .txt file) that has been stored onto your computer by the web page you are visiting. Cookies usually save your settings/web page settings, such as preferential language or IP address. Once you load your web page again the web browser is sending back the cookies pertaining to such a web page. This enables the web page to load information adjusted to your needs.

Cookies also enable you the best possible web browsing experience as the “remember” your preferences, so you really do not have to manually input all of the relevant details. For an example: cookies enable you to load one web page and should you transfer to another one you do not need to log on to the previous one for it to have the expected content and functionality. Furthermore, all of your web settings will be stored for the next time you load this web page.

By using cookies, we cannot access your files stored locally on your computer and we cannot read your personal information from the content of the cookies.
